Today, for the first time, I bought jeans to fit my current size. Such a weird feeling to be happy with the result of trying on clothes. I’ve been steadily losing weight for over a year and half at this point. Up until this point I restrained myself from buying any new clothes. Why? Because then this becomes real and then I’ll super focus on it and may sabotage myself and gain it all back. Crazy, I know!

“…neither did I!!!!” was my response back to that. LOL! I was having a conversation earlier this year with someone who’s close to me. The subject was my current weight loss journey. That comment had me cracking up! Because, it’s true! Somewhere along the road I gained a lot of the weight back, after having gastric bypass surgery in 2010.
